... Mora, Katie, Rios, and Sam eating and the host pulled up our chairs with them. I had some veg biriyani and chapati. It was nice and cheap and quick. As it neared three we got our bill ( in India they call checks bills which makes a lot of sense) and headed back to our hotel.

... and really only expected to relax at the hotel and go swimming.

In the morning, after an excellent breakfast of scrambled egg (or "scrumbled egg" as it is known here!); tropicana and the obligatory jam and toast, we headed out to meet Stanley Wilson, of Wilson tours, with whom we had booked a trip to Munnar. We also had a wander around Princess Street, bought ice-cream from Gelato, then headed back to the hotel for a midday swim.

... it not for the intervention of Jijo in my treatment plan I think I would have not stayed here as it was obvious to me that the two inexperienced boys would never soften any muscles even if left to it for a year ! At least my arrival has assisted them in being educated how to do a massage and Peter, the German doctor, attested to this when he had a massage on his final day and said it was significantly better than the massages he had before going to Goa.
