... for third-party liability insurance, supposedly mandatory in California or any other state within the United States of America. This was a lot of money for us! We thought we had rented an economy car for USD 16 per day and we ended up paying USD 30 per day. We felt deceived and very annoyed because nobody informed us about such a regulation at the time of hiring.

Tomorrow we leave behind the 38 - 40 degrees heat of Los Angeles and head to the milder climate of San Francisco, via an overnight stay in Monterey. I have really enjoyed LA - it is such a vast city of diversity. We walked up to the top, passed the amusement park and stopped to write postcards by the small lake (where they were sailing remote controlled yachts). It was beautiful there. We then continued walking to see the Alice in Wonderland statue, the turtle pond, B... castle ...

... quick look around we went to movement lifestyle, another dance/ fitness centre where we took a Hiphop class with Brandon Dumlao. This was so much fun. The movements weren't too hard, they were just really fast and groovy. He went old school with Christina Millian her old hit song 'Dip it low' which used to be one of my favourites. I think it went pretty well and I really enjoyed myself. Was fun to see the amazing dancers in the end when Brandon picked a few groups to dance. After class ...
