... noises. We went for a couple of great hikes around the area. We saw the rock formation "The Three Sisters" and some really beautiful waterfalls. Then got harassed by a religious nutjob for about an hour, who wouldn't let us leave the lookout area without hearing his views on life. Luckily we made it away from him just before we starved to death. We hiked back to camp, ate, and went to sleep for many, many hours ...

... that. Like I said I was feeling pretty sorted... so where did all that stuff come from?...

This realization freaked me out for maybe an hour.... and then we had a 5 min break before doing yet another hour of meditation.... and then I sat again learning to contemplate this "stuff" without judging it... and suddenly it was fine. I knew that stuff was not permanent and it stopped scaring me instantly. It's almost like I could give it a hug.

We flew from Christchurch to Melbourne, so it was lovely to arrive in Oz without any jet lag and having made such a relatveily short journey.
