I sit on this plane, about to leave on the biggest trip of my life, and the aux power dies. Means all the lights are out, the AC is dead and we can't taxi or even start the engines. The Captain comes on and tells us the aux power is dead, they'll fix it, then make sure we are still safe to fly... I think to myself, I'm not even gonna get out of Vancouver. They fix the Aux power, and determine everything ...

I read one of my books all the way over, underlined interesting sentences and lines. It forced my concentration and kept me occupied. I've still got about 100 pages to go before I finish the book, but I figure I'll leave it for the trip back, since I've read it 5 times ...

... of our house. I'm sure our neighbors loved that considering they reported me to the HOA every time I brought the thing over there and had it parked for more than 72 hours. Our initial plan is to spend a week here in Texas and see our friends and family and go to Great Wolf Lodge, and then head out towards Austin on our way to Carlsbad, Ruidoso, White Sands, Las Cruces, Silver City, Tuscon, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Vegas and then on to California.
