Saturday my sister Kassie drove in from PA, and she came to sit with me while I got my hair blown out at the salon. You see the Dominicans, they are really good at blowing out hair to be straight... something about their wrists that normal people just can't do, haha. ... locked. So we called the contact number we had, and talked to the principal.
"We're here behind the building."
"Great! You see those reserved parking spaces by the dumpster?"
"Just pull into one of those. They're right next to the stairs that go into the auditorium. Or, if you don't want stairs--well, wait right there, I'll be right out."
So we waited and waited, but didn't see anybody coming out to greet us. Soon, I realized that the phone ...
Well after our trip to beat the boys in golf didnt happen (how convenient) we are looking forward to our trip to Mexico. Below is a small (not really detailed) itinerary for our Mexico trip.
5:00am - Wake up and then wake up Brooke and Joshua.
5:15am - Again attempt to wake up Brooke and Joshua
5:30am - Head out to the airport (I need to stop traveling with humans)
7:55am - Take off from the airport
11:55am (NY time) - Land in Cancun
... ha ha ha. It was a great night, despite the mosquitoes. Even the veggie hotdogs didn’t disappoint us carnivores. Aww, the evening was ending, and tomorrow we leave for home.
We left the Yonkers house at 5AM, Jane’s dad drove us to the airport and then dropped Diana off at the Path train station on 33rd.
It was a magnificent trip, NYC. Thank you all who made it ...
