I don't know why we're so excited....check back with us in a few hours when we're STILL in Texas! We stopped on the line to gas up. Today we drove through Alabama, the southern part of Mississippi, and partway through Louisiana, and got to New Orleans. While driving through Mississippi, we drove along miles of white sandy beaches. In Louisiana, we drove across a bridge over huge Lake Pontchatrain.
