    ... a crab shack but they didn't really have what we wanted and what we got wasn't great. So for dinner we asked where to go and were told to go to Duffy's Tavern. We checked the menu on line and it was clams and lobster and all the stuff we were looking for. So off we went...and couldn't find it, went around in circles, Mary the GPS said go one way, Dora the Explorer on my phone said the other ...

    ... forgot to tick the butter box so Craig wasn’t too impressed with that and gave his toast a miss. Thought we’d better get our deck walk in early so we headed up to deck 6 only discover that sections of the deck were cordoned off as they were lowering the tender boats. We watched the process for a while then headed up to Deck 12 to get a better overall view of things.

    ... TV. We’re still having a lovely time – we usually do – but are definitely finding the Holland America experience nowhere near the standard we’ve found with Princess. But talking to other regular HAL travellers they too are finding the whole standard disappointing on this voyage too.

    Anyway after omelette for breakfast which was really tasty, we headed back to the cabin and got our walking shoes on ...

    After morning exercise, Jane and I drove to a needlepoint store in Barrington, RI. The Picket Fence was a quaint little needlepoint store. We enjoyed the drive, lovely scenery along the coast. After lunch at the Black Pearl, Jane, Buddy & I drove around the area to see the historic mansions.
