Mom - you would love the scenery here on I-74... nothing but rolls of hay and farmland as far as you can see. So peaceful. I know farmers are up at the crack of dawn and work their butts off all day. I would imagine its more of a simple life. Wake up, feed the chickens, cows, horses, ...

We got up this morning, ate breakfast, and started driving, only to be distracted by a Cabela's. We stopped and got a few things, then really did start driving to Sioux Falls. We got there at about noon, and stayed for lunch. It was only slightly interesting, yet really pretty. ...
... was so sweaty that it kept sticking to my trousers and folding skin over. Bloody agony! Had to ride East along the I80 which is truck central. Not an enjoyable ride. Got into Des Moine and tried to find Tara and Chris' Place. Chris is an old friend of Michelle's who invited us over to stay. Bit of a nightmare to find as their street wasn't on GPS. Tara had done us a great pasta meal and we drank gallons of water to rehydrate. Played with their little sausage dog ...
