          ... legitimate as the store sold lotions, but I am not that adventurous. The town is a bit of a maze to walk among all the people, the bike riders (no one wheres helmets here), and the cars. So I was able to see many of the canals and some of the major buildings - even was graced with a rainbow. Tomorrow I will be checking out some of the sites starting with the Anne Frank ...

          ... not or just a whole lot of acting for the crowd? After a wander around Alkmaar we caught the train back to Haarlem for some lunch. A visit to the archeological museum was next where we saw displays that trace the history of this place back 1,500 years.           ... and the tank was lower than the wheels.
          As many will tell you "always lift a bike with your bum towards the bike"!!! Well, I tried this and simply could not get this heavy chunk of metal up and so I put my belly towards the bike and with one hand on the front crashbar and the other on the rear handle I lifted her up with all my might!!! Not an easy task at all with all that luggage but i managed!! Just wish I was 20 years younger ;-0

          ... age people continue to actively seek out and torture people because of their beliefs, skin or sexuality. I really think that everyone should pay a visit to that museum or at least read the Diary of Anne Frank because if everyone remembers the story, maybe just maybe, we can prevent such persecution ever happening again.
