Nog niet gevlogen

A full(?) day in Amsterdam
... in one of the buildings around us. When I got out of the shower, mom told me to look at her bed. It broke! The slats underneath had fallen through, so the foot of her mattress was on the floor. She sat down on the foot of the bed and it just fell through. When our hostess came in to take care of our leftover breakfast, mom told her what happened. We both got a good laugh out of it. I Amsterdam
... was fresh and it was nice to spend some time alone strolling along. We walked past Anne Frank house just as the bells from the old church were chiming and I thought that Anne would have heard the same bells whilst in the annexe.
I would have loved to see the Keukenhof Gardens while we were here but we didn’t have enough time and also today would have been no good with the rain all day…but I hope to get to see them one day!

... uren zijn lichten gedoofd heeft. Dit weerhoudt ons niet om in ieder geval een paar leuke foto’s in en met de attracties te schieten. The breakfast room this morning is decorated for the holidays and adds to the charm of the Hotel Fita. Apple pancakes, fresh croissants, and all the other breakfast goodies fill our tummies.
