... HWS tank. We suspect that some of the water going through the system, particularly up north was harsher than we thought at the time.

The Valley of the Giants was pretty impressive. Hard to comprehend the scale of these trees. Its fair to say that we've fallen in love with the forests in the South West, with the massive trees, wildflowers, ferns etc. We probably didn't appreciate this area until now, pretty special.

... walking trail there was signs marking significant points in the history of the area; plant life; bird life etc. There was a bird hide which we have found to be excellent to sit in and find that all the birds are hiding. Indeed on this walk all the bird life and bird song were well away from the bird hide!

Travelled towards Albany and stopped at Denmark to see the quant shops and parks. They must be a spiritual lot and like the alternative lifestyle, as there a few shops that were selling crystals, yoga books, meditation classes, dream chasers and the likes.
