    A Visit to Salem

    Fun day! LaureAnn and I drove over to Salem, Massachusetts for all things witchy! What a beautiful day. the drive was wonderful - lots of great conversation, story swapping, beautiful scenery, and then Salem itself.

    We walked around, visited a couple of the sites, one being the only structure left from the witch trial period. That is the home of Judge Corwin.

    ... to Vermont looking for FALL COLOR! And found it too. Actually most of the color was in Massachusetts. Vermont was awe fully dry. All of the stream beds were extremely low. But all along the way we say wonderful vistas and quaint New England towns. Covered bridges, The Berkshires, The Green Mountains, The Yankee Candle Factory Shops!

    ... York. She was fun to talk to. At one point we also picked up a husband and wife team what were part of a group called Train Trails ( if I remember correctly). They got on to tell us about what we were seeing and about the history of the area! I think it is part of the National Park Service.

    ... are careful to keep the original look. After the tour, Kara and I took a walk around the lake on one of the trails with gazebos everywhere. We could see the Skytop Tower and could not recall what else was up there. Our docent told us to check out the skating rink but we never made it there.
