Yesterday we drove down to Laverstoke Mill which is now the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. We had watched a Megafactories documentary on the restoration of the mill and loved getting to see it and to learn about making the gin. After enjoying our riding hack so much on Friday, today Craig, Aaron and Chloe had a riding lesson at the same stables. Everyone did really well, especially Craig whose horse decided to do an impromptu canter but he managed to hold ...

So we talked a lot about why we're singing it - we're singing for their friends and teachers, and all the people and memories they love and want to celebrate. I told them they have to put that emotion into ...

... to pretty Bibury, the village with some of the oldest buildings in the Cotswolds (dating from 1380), with its chocolate-box presentation and steeply-pitched roofs.

We stopped for the night in Burford Lodge. A lovely little room in another pretty village, Britainīs Most Photographed Town.

And the next day was more of the same, with Mum enjoying flurries of snow as we wound our way through country lanes to Broadway, Upper and Lower ...
