We couldn't go into any of the buildings because it was graduation day at Oxford. Amazing to think about really - these kids were graduating from one of the finest universities in the entire world.

Sunday - Jericho
We moved about half a mile this morning so we are nearer the city centre and St Aldate's Church. We set off for church at ten, giving ourselves 30 minutes to find it. We did get a bit lost and got there 5 minutes late but fortunately they were on St Stephen's time and we made the beginning of the service. It was good to be there and pray with others ...
... Then we walked on past more College to the newly revamped Ashmolean Museum and enjoyed a light lunch at the rooftop restaurant, again soaking up warm sunshine. Chip then had to attend an event at the Law Faculty which we had passed on our walk that morning (a rather cold, bleak looking block of a building) and Kary & Kathryn were going to do some shopping so I took another lovely walk back to Crowley alongside the river but this time on the other side, ...
... to pretty Bibury, the village with some of the oldest buildings in the Cotswolds (dating from 1380), with its chocolate-box presentation and steeply-pitched roofs.
We stopped for the night in Burford Lodge. A lovely little room in another pretty village, Britainīs Most Photographed Town.
And the next day was more of the same, with Mum enjoying flurries of snow as we wound our way through country lanes to Broadway, Upper and Lower ...
