... Hawaii spoiled me. These large sandstone rocks were very nice, but I felt the road to Hana had beautiful Garden of Eden rainforests and waterfalls.

... exception of 4 other people and a lonely beginner surfer getting pounded by the waves and fighting the strong riptide. We spent some time walking along the empty beach picking up shells and looking in the tidal pools. We enjoyed a few sunny breaks from the last 3 days of rainy weather. Only a small amount is spilt, I'm sure it will be enjoyed by the ants later on. Following the winding coastal route, we head towards Wye River, or camp for the night. but as the structure sways slightly, it was a little scary! It was a very peaceful hour’s walk and quite steep
