Left Albuquerque at 0800 am and headed towards Clinton, Oklahoma for the night. Drove 486 miles today under bright and sunny skies. It was really windy and very chilly low 40s all day.

Stopped in Santa Rosa, New Mexico because I was curious about the Blue Hole. Not much else there, except a lot of prisoners picking up trash and a lot of ...

After leaving Keystone we stayed at Bristow, old working town which had a large Casino owned by the local Indians. It appears the 'gamble' has paid off for all these Indian Tribes buying into the Casino world. On Friday the 4th we stopped at the Museum at Chandler. It used to be an armoury and was built using hand made sandstone blocks 20 inch thick. It has been made into quite a modern museum with one of a kind video archives. The service gymnasium has ...

... was over. It was 2:30 AM before any of us got any sleep. The next morning, I rose early to inspect the damage. To my surprise the awning had not beat a hole in Dottie. The old girl was bruised but not broken. There was however fiberglass shrapnel all over the place. One broken piece had the letters DOU on it. I knew immediately that this was The “DOU” was part of the “DOU-THERM” stencil that was on my roof AC covers. This explained the ...
