    ... the 2nd Century AD by Marcus Aurelius. Its diameter is 315 feet and it can hold 7000 people.

    As you may have noticed we have had some amazing meals here. We had another highlight today. We stopped for lunch at a little roadside outdoor restaurant, run by an elderly lady and her daughter-in-law. It serves only crÍpes. You get to see her make the crÍpes and cook them over an outdoor fire. Fantastic! See pictures ...

    ... the Mediterranean. We know it will be a lot of fun to explore the area tomorrow. For tonight, we dropped off our luggage (we love our hotel) and walked down to a recommended sea food restaurant.     It was a slow day today. Rhonda headed over to the archeological museum and I took it easy. Did some wandering around the cobbled backstreets and found a few trinkets to buy. And lots of good photo opportunities. When she returned we did more wandering. Found some tiles we will have framed for our TV/travel room.
