After leaving Egirdir (where travellers are few and far between), we arrived in Antalya, a large modern city on the Mediterranean. Snow was bucketing down, covering all the trees and ground, almost like a fairytale... Until the silence was broken by another crying baby. We arrived in Antalya and checked in, seeing massive snow capped mountains rising from the beach. We had a craving for non-Turkish food and there was an Italian restaurant next door. ...

... all covered in neon strips that change colour ever few minutes. This holiday has been a bit of a disaster, even without the sickness. We did get to see the wonderful sights of capadoccia, but in retrospect we could have just flown into Antalya and hired a car and been so much more capable of doing what we wanted, rather than be stuck with the tour. Can't wait to get ...
