Well, the initial euphoria of new country, new sights, new places and all that sort of stuff has quickly worn off after managing to sleep just 4 hours last night and lying awake considering all the different ways I might get to sleep. At 6am I made a cuppa and decided enough was enough, I obviously only needed 4 hours sleep in the past 36.

Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

          Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

          Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

Jack and I had a good run to Jacksonville from Bozeman. Made it all the way to Lawrenceburg, TN the first day. We were really beat after 10 hours of flying, but It was just too hard to give up those tailwinds. After a quick over nite at the hospitable FBO in Lawrenceburg, we made it to Herlong Field in JAX by 10 AM. So now sporting a new 3 bladed CS prop from ...

... prehistoric peg-legs function a bit like stilts and don’t carry them very far or very fast (or very gracefully). But they are cute as can be!

The UNF mascot is the osprey, and I have seen many of them since my arrival in Florida. The other day I saw one flying overhead with a snake in its talons, off to feed chicks in a nest. And speaking of snakes, there is one living in our garage. It’s a black racer (non-venomous) and my house-mate has ...

also linked with this song, composer lyricist Feng Liu Huan, great!
Melody, and lyrics, only to find it was made for the overseas Chinese,
for thousands Million over the outside of East and West and make people
dream. Perhaps I appeared in the United States, in order to fully
appreciate this situation, only overwhelmed sentiment.
