      ... unfortunately passed in the fall of last year. The Milwaukee Symphony Chorus, of which Grandma P was a charter member and ardent supporter, dedicated their March A Capella Concert to her memory. It was a fitting and memorable tribute to an exceedingly wonderful woman.

      ... damage the boots took was a broken strap on the left boot (im assuming it was from the 3-6" diameter branch that I jumped up). Even with multiple log jumps, deep sand pits, 2 1/2 ft snow drifts, 1-2 1/2 ft deep water crossings and soupy mud holes the boots kept traction on the rubber pegs of the KLR. Down side....... Not waterproof..... Not even resistant. I found myself with wet socks multiple times but there are products out there to assist with this problem. ...

      ... them "easy chairs". Yup, easy to fall asleep and be just plain lazy in. The dogs have found their places. Gracie loves the quilt and Oscar loves the sofa. They are great travelers now and are enjoying be able to run around off leash here at Mark's house.

      Gary is enjoying making his first breakfast in this little home. He is having a great time-he plans on being top chef when we are out and about. Works for me!

      ... things. I forgot my wallet at dinner last night...because I was already stressing about forgetting things for this trip. Sometimes the least stressful thing about a vacation is that comfort you get from walking back through the door of your own place. I'm looking forward to it already. I really am looking forward to this experience. I just hope I won't be too hopped up on NyQuil to remember it. ...
