... far, Michigan and Ohio drivers all seem to want to be first...Yesterday, as we were driving around Detroit was a nail biter...people drive so fast and most don't use signals. Guess they got the discount cars that don't have signal lights! We typically don't travel on Interstates but we are headed for Dayton and want to have time to go see the museums that Ron has on his bucket list...All the Wright Brother Air museums... Had some fun in ...

The kids have been having a good time swimming at the campgrounds on the way back home and today they got a bunch of shots of the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis. We had some awesome barbecue today at Baumbach's in New Paris, Ohio (pop. 1629). My goodness it was in the middle of NOWHERE near our campground but so damned good! Cycled with Kettie, Ingun, PC and Doug all of the day. 4 people fell off due to rain and railroad tracks but ...

... be closer to Indianapolis not over an hour away. I think what happened was that I was looking for a site half way between Owosso and Moline (tomorrow's stop) not focusing on the fact that we wanted to see more of Indianapolis. Oh well, we had a great time driving around Richmond’s historic district looking at all the murals and finding a wonderful chocolate shop. The murals were very realistic. The train photo made us do a double take. The balloon ...

6-25 Day 4. We realized yesterday afternoon before going to Gary's that our route south to Richmond, IN that we would be reasonably close to Shipshewana IN where our camper was made. Since Matt from Hillcrest RV had said a fix to our slide out problem would probably require some slanted blocks on the slide we decided to try and pick up the parts so someone could then repair it at one of our longer stops. We contacted KZ trailers and they said we needed to have ...
