    The kids have been having a good time swimming at the campgrounds on the way back home and today they got a bunch of shots of the Gateway Arch in downtown St. Louis.     ... Arrived at hotel and had shower and warmed up. Put the A/C unit to heat. First time on this trip. Ordered in a pizza for lunch and then I tested out the bed quality with a nap. Well I use the term losely as not sure when a nap becomes a sleep but I just couldn't get up. Not even for a milkshake.

    Went to dinner at Golden Coral and had a good feed. Other American observation-their lemonade is usually flat.

    I miss having metal cutlery at breakfast too...

    ... in NY, but significantly different from MI. We passed hundreds of large rolling irrigators. The crops appear to be mostly soybeans and corn, we assume from appearance. We also passed a large windmill farm probably 25 – 30. Peg always gets excited with windmills. In fact I got in trouble for our second entry because I did not mention the windmills she saw and photographed near downtown Cleveland.
