Ted didn't sleep a wink last night due to the very storms, it rained, hailed, sleeted and the wind blew wild, it was so cold that he put on all of his jumpers with the BLUE on on top because it was pouring with rain. Still no such thing as bad weather just the wrong clothing, so he donned his wet weather gear and off he strolled.
Start temperature 3.5c, finish 7.5c, not sure if it's a Brrrrday or a Grrrrrday, still he survived....

The next stage caused confusion and at this point reaching for the map it was apparent that I had left it during one of our weather clothing changes.
We had to retrace our steps!!!( YOU DON'T APPRCIATE IT UNTIL YOU'VE LOST IT).
The final two miles of backwater lanes resembled an F1 race circuit, rather than a quiet amble.

... close to me, but not divulge to the rest of the World what I did, the girls at work thought they knew what I was capable of, until now.
Finished the walk and established our new camp at Cosawes, the tent went up really quickly, went off for sustinance, currently involved in a Pub Quiz, how did that happen!!! the kids will know..

The Ups and Downs of Cornish Hills
... just went all wrong!! From wet clothes, and wet tent to poor mileage, sore knees, sore thighs and one too many hills that actually had me in tears. Not very manly, I know. But it happened. I hit a wall. I didn't mind biking in the rain the previous day and even camping in the rain the previous night. I DID mind not showering, biking in wet clothes and didn't much enjoy packing away my wet tent and other wet clothing. Yechhh!! I already had a 'mildew' incident with my tent and ...
