... the old routine. The day before we fly and we're about to leave for the airport, check in then stay at the Premier Inn Gatwick.

The day didn't start well, with Min and I rowing over the number of shirts she wanted me to pack, me severely stubbing my toe and the dog ******** in the car on the way to the dog minders. My car now has essence of dog. We'll never get rid of it. The smell not the car.

And why this blog is insisting I live in Ontario I do not know.

I can only dream that one day a will be given a diamond that large. Tonight we are going to dinner at Rubens Hotel. A hotel know for extreme luxury. Then we are going to see Billy Elloit, the play. ... coast through Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. There were a few days with more difficult climbs, such as the Sustrans route west of Burnham Market on Day 8 and the hilly country west of Milton Keynes on Day 14, both made worse by persistent head winds, but they were neither dull nor dreary.
