We have arrived
It was with great relief that we saw Leslie (who had come to pick us up) as we exited Heathrow T3 arrivals. It had been a long flight from SIngapore (13 1/2 hours) with not much sleep for me, but a bit more for Jess and Gwen. We arrived!!! Woohoo!!!
Landed in Heathrow just before 6am. Slightly rainy and grey, but much to our expectations!
Baggage took a bit longer to arrive due to some sort of technical difficulty, but got it eventually.
Customs compared to NZ = incredibly easy, pretty much just walk out of the airport - as easy as that!
Uncle Peter and Hannah (cousin) picked us up, I haven't seen them ...

... takes off in nine hours, and the majority of this time should be spent sleeping, I still haven't packed my bag. Numerous pairs of tap shoes are scattered on the carpet, mixed in with money belts, walking socks, guide books, and percy pigs. ... and thanks to Google Maps I knew exactly where I was going and had even seen the street view. Seriously... what did we do in age before Google?!?
Met up with Kelly, and got a tour of the "Palace." This place is insanely beautiful. Pictures to come... my words won't do it justice. But we are really fortunate to have such a great place to stay.

Terrifying London Dungeons, Tower Bridge & Harrods
... out at St Catherine Docks before heading over Tower Bridge to the Tower od London. We all decided to end the day treating ourselves to shopping at Harrods. We had great fun checking out the watches, trying on fancy dresses and finally purchasing sunglasses to replace the couple of pairs stolen, Question - what do you think one of the most expensive watches at Harrods costs?
