Anyway, we finally got to our hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our evening in Birmingham.
The next morning saw us returning our hire car and taking the 2.5 hour flight to Malaga. We both loved Spain the last time we visited and made sure that it was back on our list of things to do for this time. Warm weather, paella, friendly Spaniards and more golf courses - what is there not to love?

I haven’t done that since I left the Fire Service! Actually, working in a bar sounds really appealing, especially if Ash and I are working together. I think it might be a lot of fun. Having booked all the flights and arranged paperwork we now had to plan our route and arrange accommodation. After much research and several changes of mind we finally opted for two nights in Vancouver at a lovely looking B&B. This will give us time to explore the parts of the city we want to see and recover from the flight. We then move on to Nanaimo where Heather found a brilliant looking B&B. Today was a very pleasant one. Set off for the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford just a few mile down the road from where we are staying. No stuff ups for the navigator. ... was also the yoghurt, strawberry and muesli parfait before that - yum yum. Then we wandered down to the village to visit the museums (there are 10 in total). I think we made it to 5, so still have some for tomorrow. The reason for so much walking is due to the place being built on the sides of the valley and one has to walk up and down all the time. Might have to drive tomorrow as one of the museums covers 52 ...
