I heart Google Drive. And if you're planning a trip with someone (like Bob and I are), it's extra wonderful because we can share (and edit in real time) all of these documents.
It's not fancy like some of the other trip planners (I attempted to use TripIt but gave up), but it's flexible and allows you to write as much as you want and organize everything in one place.
I flew back to Rochester for Memorial Day weekend for Caitlyn's baptism. We were able to get out for the first real sail of the season (a little chilly, but not bad!), I tried on some wedding dresses with Mom and Christina, and celebrated my birthday a bit early with a delicious lunch at my favorite Rochester restaurant.

It was a wonderful weekend home with beautiful weather, and we even had time to get the boat ready for the season (along with a brief sail).

We're on the road, starting the first stretch of our trip! It is hard to leave home, but we are looking forward to all of the adventures to come. Car is packed to maximum capacity (with still being able to see out of the windows, of course). With a full tank of gas, a heavy heart, and some nervous excitement, we are off to a good start and almost to buffalo. We will make a couple of posts each day of our trip, so stay tuned!!
