Okay, I've been completely avoiding the blog this past week. It isn’t that there hasn’t been anything going on (well, 5% of that is true…the days are like the movie Groundhog Day and we’re all playing Bill Murray’s role) but I’ve just felt no inclination whatsoever to write. Instead, we’ve been catching up on the show GIRLS and now we’re starting the latest season of Game of Thrones (the Joffrey scene…YES!).

I'll sign off now, and blog again probably on the way back from DC ...

I rushed into action as soon as the reality of my predicament caught up with my awareness. My room was flooding, everything that I owned ...

... over an hour later. We were bombarded by kids. He actually had a fairly lengthy line of kids waiting with their parents for balloon animals! We handed out a lot of flyers and I even got over my balloon fear long enough to blow up balloons for him to make the process a little faster. We stopped when we finally ran out of balloons. I really wish we'd had a count of how many we took with us today.

All in all, VERY successful day. Rhonda was very happy and we were very ...

... some of the divers who volunteer and feed the tropical fish. They gave me a full marine biology lesson on all the fish, coral and some tips on what to look out for when I go diving in the Florida Keys. I also visited the rain forest and Australia! NBC News were filming while a lady fed the big stingray and the jelly fish exhibition - awesome!
