This is the earliest in the season I've ever gone snowboarding. There was enough snow, so my dad and I went up to Brighton. Well, kinda enough snow. It's still important to watch out for rocks and little bushes everywhere. It was also a ...
Brighton, Utah, United States alifebeinglived I decided I had too much **** with me, and being the pack-rat that I am, wanted to mail some of it back home. Unfortunately the hamlet villiage of Lyman doesn't have a post office.
And when I inquired about a hardware store... I was also pointed out of ...
Well we drove last night to Limon Colorado. The baseball game was on so it made the long drive bearable. About 10pm the game was over and we decided enough was enough for the night. We stopped at a rest stop and went to sleep. Sometimes on a long trip we forgo the campground. Why spend money for hookups we wont be using anyway. Today we are driving to Wyoming. We reached Lyman Wyoming about 6pm. Boy there was some wild weather on the drive today. With Wyoming being so flat you can see the ...
Lyman, Wyoming, United States mernmbSeveral celebrations marked the 80th anniversary of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's weekly broadcast, Music and the Spoken Word. On Wednesday, July 15--the exact day 80 years ago of the first broadcast--the Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square performed a concert at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah. Dubbed the "8th stop" of their recently concluded Central States Tour, the concert was also a celebration of the ...
Ogden, Utah, United States motabchoir01I took a lovely camping trip with my guys on the 4th of July weekend to the Uinta mountains. We camped in the Soapstone area, one of my favorite camping spots. It was a really good trip, the only major setback being the mosquitoes. I don't know what it was about this trip, but I've never encountered so many of the little *******s in my life. Bug spray didn't seem to phase them either.
While we were there, we hiked to Ruth ...

... there´s no inherent honor in last minute preparation styles, but i must admit that i am quite pleased with the sheer amount that i have been able to accomplish in these last few days: applied for and received a passport renewal, purchased a new bicycle and a trailer BOB to tag along.
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States sconedogger... in the mountain-side, rather than a natural spring. But all were fed from a real sulphur lake source from the mountain - and boy, could you smell it - eggy all the way! It's apparently a place where the Ute Indians (and their horses and dogs) once bathed. It's also at an elevation of 7,600 which means you get lovely views of the mountains. We lazed in the different pools for about 3 hours, all of varying temp. The hottest one being 112f... ouch. It was hot, I got in it ...
Grand Junction, Colorado, United States lisartw... weather was quite cold up in the mountains, but we still climbed all over the rocks and had a hike up the tundra to see some more rocky mountain bits. We also saw a hamster like creature called a Pika that squeeks a lot and gathers tundra materials. We drove right around the park and down the other side to get to our lodgings for the night in Grand Lake. Grand Lake, as it's name would suggest, is a small town based around a big lake. It was such a lovely ...
Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, United States lisartw... s a great bar in the downtown area that has a cool patio on the top floor. We ended the night with a walk down Pearl Street, which is the main street and found a fab band, called Dow Jones, playing a great mixture of funk and Jazz in the Pearl Street Pub. We stayed to hear them for a while before heading back to our bed for the night. We're heading up to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park tomorrow but not before a stop at the hairdressers for Lee!
