Charles Fort, Kinsale Harbor, Cobh

Started off the day with a nice breakfast overlooking Kinsale Harbor, then off to Charles Fort. Charles Fort was one of many Irish Forts guarding the harbor of the town. It was drizzling out a little, so umbrellas were in store, but the drizzle stopped about half-way through our tour of the Fort. The fort had beautiful views of both the town of Kinsale and into the open ocean.
We then went back into ...

Blarney Castle, St Finbarre's Cathdral

Woke up this morning to pretty significant rainfall. Had a pleasant breakfast in the hotel and a bit of a conversation with the owners, since there were hardly any people in the dining room. We checked out and I loaded all of the luggage into the car. We also had to take care of a toll that our car went through in Dublin. When you go through a toll, you are given a number to call and you must provide credit card info in order to pay your toll. That took a ...

The long and winding road...

... a beach resort. Sir Walter Raleigh was once the mayor. We looked at the light house and the flowers and strolled along the walk beside the inlet. Nice! As we walked above the inlet we saw the most curious sign. Diving Rocks? Now what could that be? Curiosity got the best of us so we climbed down a bunch of steps and saw yet another sign Do you think???????? That is ...

Eh oui, JE ME SUIS PERDUE! Hahaha...

Brown and the Builders

... skip it, just that I rafted, hiked, camped, Kaoroaked(or tried to anyway), pubbed, drove across the prairies, saw world cup womens rugby. Could not have asked for a better trip. Thanks to everyone who made time to see me on my tight schedule. Went to the Isle of Mull which hosts the town of Calgary and is where Calgary got its name from, but stayed in Tobermory, had a fantastic time in a wee pub there as there were these fellas from Newcastle sailing around the west ...

Looved the train ride

... a sandwhich and a bannana, and found the hostel quickly, its pretty cool. I daresay there is an art to learning how to shower with one hand whilst holding the water button with the other, but the water was hot and it felt good. At one point i looked under and i saw a pair of mens feet on the other side, and then when i was leaving this guy opens the door and hes like oh, sorry, and then he says, this is the mens bathroom too? and i smile and say yes. I'm a pro already.
