    ... Baltic countries vacation.) We then went to a laundromat to wash our clothes, its been a week. We started laundry and I left to get our books. Jean needed something to read while waiting. On the way back I stopped for gasoline ($3.24 - hope it is this cheap when we return home.) When I returned to the laundromat Jean was on her phone with Debbie Schrieber. After we were done, we returned to the B&B to drop off the clothes, and for Jean to change cloths so we could go out ...

    ... and some road maintenance that the GPS did not know about we managed to put in an extra 50 miles or so but still persevered and found I 40, which was like finding the true path home. There was still another surprise waiting for us though. as we were rolling into Arkansas and seeing home ahead, sort of, the left tire on Spencer's trailer self destructed with a mighty wiggle and the shucking of many pieces! He got it to the side ...

    ... We dutifully did the Graceland tour, which is a very slick operation that is always busy. There is a separate tour hq across the road with gift shops and buses to take you up the drive to the house (all of a hundred yards, but it means Elvis gets his own traffic lights). It's all a bit dated now, and ever so slightly tacky to our eyes, but this guy was the first to be subjected to the excesses of the modern superstar, and for all that the house ...

    ... to let her take her job to Florida. Why Florida? I don’t really know, except that Florida is NOT Mississippi.     We left the tranquillity of Hot Springs and headed for the bright lights of Memphis, Tennessee (our 29th state and probably the last "new" state this trip). It seemed a straight forward journey, east through Little Rock (not so little!) then the Interstate 40, a little "jiggle" south round Memphis and we had picked a campsite on, Elvis Presley Boulevard - yes we were off to see the king's palace, Graceland.
