    ... he had to fix it, will should not crack any further, and I guess that is important. As it turned out, it was all good since this cost about $75 less than the other guy.

    So by now it is after 1, but I really wanted to see some of Nacogdoches. We drove into downtown and parked at the visitors center. We got some information and walked around the plaza for a bit. There are a lot of old buildings, but not original buildings. Many signs which say " of..." ...

    Yesterday started with us going to breakfast with the Bakers. We went to a place in town which was recommended by the couple in the office here at the park. It wasn't bad, but could have been better. Actually some of the responsibility falls on the waitress. She was new and not very good.     ... a little cooler here than in Queen City, not much be a little bit.

    Not sure what we'll do tomorrow, maybe just stick around here and see what history Nacogdoches can provide. I read somewhere that Nacogdoches is the oldest city in Texas. Also have to decide where we will go when we leave here on Tuesday.

    Now that we are here, guess I did not have to rush and do laundry because we have sewage here, so I can do laundry if I need ...

    Lufkin is in the heart of the bible belt. I spent the day with Lady Caroline. It was so special. She collected me at 10:30 and drove me around the town a little looking at how the real America lives. Parts of the town are so pretty and the houses are huge by Australian Standards. This took us a couple of hours - and then I was in for a real treat

    Clif is almost done with the TV's so we can get satellite in both rooms as well as local and DVD. Then, we have to go through the punch list to make sure everything is A-ok and get instructions on the satellite and TV's . Hopefully we'll be gone by noon. Yeah ...
