... amazing pizzeria was followed by alpine mini-golf (yours truly emerging victorious. Of course.) before a chilled night in the cabin. Which led us to Sunday 28th, and check out ahead of the 6 and a half hour drive to the Florida panhandle. We were driving along and then the rain started and it was really heavy, splashing at the windscreen so you couldn't see out of them from all the back spray from lorries etc. This meant going slow which probably wasn't going to help with getting there ASAP. Once we got to the local town it was midnight and the lady asked us to call her from there as this was the last point before phone signal ...
... Cabins at about 8:30 and got checked in and the bikes unloaded. I ran into town to get some groceries and since we got to the house so much later than anticipated we just got some frozen pizza. Our house is really nice and looks like it was a good choice for our group. Tomorrow we tackle the Rattler on our way to Hot Springs with a stop at the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum.
