... I had a pretty strange accent as well: " speak American English, not Japanese!" Good thing the British-Brazilian was with me. I made him do all the talking!

Bourton-on-the-Water was so picturesque it didn't seem real. Apart from its outstanding beauty, the treasure of the little village was the Motoring Museum. Not only did it display nicely preserved cars, but each era was represented with ...

... No one showed up for a while but eventually Chris and Joel managed to buy some local beer. As we drove off we saw the visitors carpark and main entrance on the other side of the house. Oops.

Julia's reading 'The chocolate touch' for school and Mac's class is reading Michael Morpurgo's 'Kensuke's kingdom'. This is the author that wrote The War Horse that was turned into a film. I'm reading the book to Mac. It is not easy. Paul struggles reading it to him, it's full of unusual words, but Mac (& I) are loving it. It's about a little boy who travels the world ...

Congleton and Charlecote

... had promised, but here I was, Congleton parkrun.

It's a three lapper, which may not sound appealing, but this is the perfect example. First off, you're running round the edge of a lake, so it's beautiful. The lake itself is just about a mile round, so perfect for pacing, and ideal for a warm up and jog afterwards while milking the last applause-finally on my second cool down I got a smiling "I'm not applauding you, you've already ...
