Seth- I love coming back to Penn Yan whenever I can. It really is and always will be home for me. I've been living in NYC for nearly a decade and still I get that 'going home' feeling every time I get into the region. Clean air, clear skies, and nice ...

There we took the Shuttle to the upper entrance and were back to the Car. Was time to say bye to Watkins and make the move to Elmira.

... She said it took about 2 hrs to go to Hector Falls. The lake was really calm and the sky was clear. We figured we should be able to make the trip before any potential storms and rented a double kayak for $25/hr. We put on the foam sandals we got from Cave of the Winds (that Wayne refused to toss) and took off for Hector Falls just past the first point on the right bank of Seneca Lake. Another couple left right before us so, naturally, we had to beat them. We made it to the point in ...
