... 1:25 Southwest flight to St. Louis, continuing to Phoenix. Love Southwest. Golf bag FREE, three large suitcases FREE. Flights were pretty much on time, arrived Phoenix at 7:30, took the Arizona Shuttle to Ina Rd., where Ilene picked us up in our "new" car. Arrived at her home in Saddlebrooke about 11:00 PM. Long day, but NO SNOW ANYWHERE.
After a wonderful summer spent east of the Mississippi, we are finally heading west. Everything is crammed into a 5x8 trailer, our spirits are high, and we raring to go! Up at dawn and we hit the ground...picking! Gia and I got an early start and picked 3 pounds of blueberries right here at our campground for only $1.25/lb. They were medium sized but sweeter than any blueberry I had ever ever tasted - like candy!
