    I got very comfortable in Minnesota over the past few weeks. A little too comfortable, perhaps, but that happens with friends like mine. Yet I was losing momentum on my travels and struggling to take the next step. Strange, but it's as though the approaching inevitability of the trip terminus took over my mind, bringing me down.     ... Lutheran Church here in Davenport. He gave me a tour of the church. It is beautiful. I loved the design of the baptismal font, altar candles, and paschal candle.     ... told them they were jerks and to leave it alone. Instead I went back to camp and felt guilty. I'm the jerk. Later, when Joaquin was leaving, he came by and gave me a giant bag of trail mix and 12 Clif bars. He said he didn't need them anymore. What a cool dude.
