... to stick around and watch some of the "games" that would be going on the next night in Rocky's Bar. He and his buddies would be teaming up to play Chug a Beer, Eat a Cracker and Whistle - they definitely make their own fun here! The town was fast filling up with people, and we had no choice but to leave. We drove 60 miles south to the good-sized town of Clarenville, where we are using Walmart's wifi to post our blogs. Sorry to miss the fun Bruce!

... worth the really ****** road to get there.

We stopped for a very late lunch at the Oceanview Cafe in Spillars Cove, where the owner convinced me to try the cod tongue and cheeks. She gave me a few of each for free. Not so crazy about the tongue. Had a HUGE platter of fried seafood and pouting.

Rode in a slight drizzle to Clarenville for the evening.

Rode 254 miles today.

... ice berg water so that was there speciality. All the wines had really kewl, humerus names which gave them more appeal. I'm sure lots of people probably just buy them for the name and label, there 2 most popular being Moose Joose and Funky Puffin. We had a quick stop at the supermarket to get a late lunch before heading off the Island. We stopped an hour later at the Walmart in Gander to get some supplies and gas. We are up to ...

So putting the tent in the gazebo didn't work out as well as planned. As it was a wooden floor we couldn't peg it down so around 3am the wind came howling into the hut and made the whole tent flap around like a loose toupee in a hurricane. My mattress kept deflating so I had cold stiff hips and I was busting for a ****. Why do I always need a **** when I get in my sleeping bag ? I never need one when sleeping in a normal bed. This kept us awake for hours so ...
