... due to endless potholes in the road, it was an hour's drive to New Bonaventure where we had a 2 o'clock boat tour reserved with Rugged Beauty boat tours. Bruce Miller runs this tour in his 27 foot skiff out in Trinity Bay where he grew up, as did his parents and grandparents. Got up at 0800 hours, and had breakfast at the motel. On the road by 0930 to the Atlantic Aviation Museum,in the rain. We left our bags in the hotel, as the nice front desk gal gave us an hour extension for free.

We were lucky they still had the washrooms and showers opened so we could have a nice extremely hot shower!! We could also get a awesome wifi connection from the car so we had a great catch up with Lois before putting up the curtains and calling it a night in the ...

So putting the tent in the gazebo didn't work out as well as planned. As it was a wooden floor we couldn't peg it down so around 3am the wind came howling into the hut and made the whole tent flap around like a loose toupee in a hurricane. My mattress kept deflating so I had cold stiff hips and I was busting for a ****. Why do I always need a **** when I get in my sleeping bag ? I never need one when sleeping in a normal bed. This kept us awake for hours so ...
