... distance to where Nick quite bravely went for a swim in the frigid waters. It wasn't long before he emerged shivering (as one would expect when taking a dip in the North Atlantic), but I admired his courage no less. We took a drive up the coast to Sandringham to get some fuel and firewood and snapped a couple of shots of an amazing view of the setting sun. You may be asking where is the moose ...

Left Fogo Island on the 9 am ferry to start our trek to St. John's.

So putting the tent in the gazebo didn't work out as well as planned. As it was a wooden floor we couldn't peg it down so around 3am the wind came howling into the hut and made the whole tent flap around like a loose toupee in a hurricane. My mattress kept deflating so I had cold stiff hips and I was busting for a ****. Why do I always need a **** when I get in my sleeping bag ? I never need one when sleeping in a normal bed. This kept us awake for hours so ...
