Today we had another fun coincidental meet-up! Our friends from Baltimore, Katie & Brandon, are on a fun 10 vacation visiting Denver, Las Vegas, and Austin. Luckily, our last day in Austin coincided with their first day in Austin so we were able to meet up for lunch before we had to get on the road. It's always so fun to catch up with friends on this ...

Today we took a historic tour, sponsored by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce.  We started at the Stafford Opera House and ended at the Christmas House.  We had a private tour from a lovely lady, Tess, who showed us great Texan hospitality.  After the 2 hour tour we headed to Mikeskas Bar-B-Que for a great dinner.  The ribs were the best we ever ...

Just a quiet day. Trudy fixed great breakfast casseroles, Ed and Gene settled down to watch the Daytona race, the rains came to Daytona, the girls went shopping. Not much happening. Had some good Mexican food at La Finca, came back and watched the race, finally restarted. Tomorrow we start our big push for Florida. Hope to be there Tuesday evening.
