... laws that other governments don't enforce to uphold and protect whales and dolphins and other species. Then we saw many resident orcas. This is located 30 minutes south by boat from Telegraph Cove. There is a 3 hour whale watching tour company located in telegraph Cove called Stubs whale watching for $99 that includes the orcas, Dolphins and more. I now know where the orcas are located (June-Sept) so next time I will try this company for a cheaper and shorter tour. ...

... down on Canada Place we thought we go and explore it - but it wasn't open - we suspect it only opens for special events and there were no cruise ships in dock, so we just enjoyed a walk along the promenade. We had vouchers for the Lookout from the Rocky Mountaineer tour, so we ascended the lookout. It was a very fast lift up the outside of the building, followed by a 360 ...

Made me smile! Just like home. The Island is a reclaimed industrial area and now features an eclectic array of permanent shops and restaurants and a vibrant People's Market chock a block full of fresh food items and culinary delights from all around the world. ... and we had some really good peanut butter cup milkshakes!

Although we had an awesome time in Vancouver, unfortunately it didn't run totally smoothly. Not long after we arrived we got sick and ended up both having Bronchitis! We didn't see everything in Van we wanted to but knew we'd be back because of the awesome impression Vancouver left on us. Luckily we were a lot better by the time it came to catching the Greyhound bus to Lake Louise Alberta :)
