Much of it was destroyed in an earthquake/tsunami/fire in the 1700’s, but there is still much to see that is very old for us Americans. It seems a very lively and fun city. There are many comparisons to San Francisco: the ocean and bay, the hills and trolley cars, the red suspension bridge and the tourists!
