... through pretty countryside on a long drive to Rapid City. Stopped at the Crazy Horse monument, which is unfinished and been worked on for years, but it has a big industry all set up around it with shops and parks and so forth. ... Glad to hear that all's well with him and the girls We arrived in Billings about 4.15pm. It looks to be an unexciting industrial city, but is the launching place for our visits to other areas tomorrow. My lunch on Friday was an Indian Taco, very popular around that part of the country.
