    We slept in late and my friend Steve made us some pancakes for breakfast, and after stopping to fill up for ice we said our goodbyes and left. We drove for about 3 1/2 hours until we reached Buffalo Wyoming and we stopped there for gas and snacks. With the ice and soda we spent a total of 10 bucks.     ... heard of half of these guys, but after seeing their giant faces carved into a mountain I'll probably remember for a long time. It was pretty impressive though and I bet America is really proud of it. After staring up at them for a while, we set off for home but not before venturing through the eye of the needle (an extremely narrow road tunnel, each mirror was barely centimeters from scraping the walls) and walking around a beautiful Sylvan Lake.

    Wile we were visiting with our cousin Judy from Thompson Falls. the weather report came in as cold with rain and possible snow. We decided that a tactical retreat was in our best interest.
