... about new experiences - some you want to repeat, others, you don't.

Breakfast was a bit of an experience too. There was a waffle maker in the breakfast buffet. The scenery just stretched on for miles again but whereas Wyoming had been bleak and barren and a bit foreboding, Montana was proving to be rich, warm and with the Rockies in the background, just stunningly beautiful. As we got closer to The Glacier National Park, the Wows just kept coming. It really is ***********vey in words just how beautiful this place really is.

Thursday morning we hit the road for the ghost towns a week late. We are spending a couple of nights in Big Timber, ...

... the campground, finished packing up and were on the road by 10:30. Not bad for having spent over an hour at Devil's Tower! Pretty boring drive through Wyoming and up into Montana. All open fields and cattle grazing. We stopped in Sheridan, Wyoming at a rest stop/information site and the air was thick with smoke. There are a number of fires in the Rockies and the smoke is drifting east. Normally the view from this rest-stop is very picturesque....not today. Can't see ...
