... finally the tightest point called The Lemon Squeeze. Somehow there were no further red arrows indicating the way after that and I nearly crawled into a chasm that would probably have herald me fast for a long time , but Shar knew that wasn't the correct direction and pulled me back and sent me straight up and out onto a final rocky flat and some fresh air and sunshine. We climbed the tower and then had lunch in one of the gazebos ...

This is the 53rd and last entry for this incredible trip. Left the farm in Carlyle, Illinois alone at 5am CST. It actually helped quite a bit, but we still had enough water come into our shallow bilge to set it and our high alarm sensor off while we were trying to call my parents. I hope the rain stops tomorrow so we ...

It was a two hour train ride from Grand Central to the end of the line at Wassiac, in Massachusetts. From there I was picked up and driven another hour to Alford, home to the Bevans, Mary's relatives who have lived in the States for the last 50 years.

We found John and Tricia to be very generous with there time and extremely gracious hosts during our stay. They actually tried to run us ragged with daily tours of the local ...
