    We woke up to yet another beautiful day. We drove to Hyde Park and toured President Franklin Delano Roosevelts home and library. What an amazing man! Firstly, he is the only four term president and secondly, he was paralysed from the waist down for his entire presidency, as he contracted polio at the age of 39. His car was modified for hand controls and he greetd people in his study sitting or in his ver heavy leg irons leaning on a staff member. ...

    Departure from Nyack (we got dropped off just a bit out of NYC to avoid traffic) went well. We cycled approximately 65 km (40 miles). It was quite hilly (a lot more than what I am used to) but we eventually made it to Beacon, NY where we camped for the night in someone's backyard.

    I have made it back from my trip safely.

    This has been an amazing experience.

    I will now be heading to Washington state to start a job with Boeing as a Manufacturing Engineer.
