After getting off the ferry we searched for a rest stop nearby. First time washing up in a truck stop bathroom, forgot a towel so had to try and maneuver drying my face off with the air dryer. Yeahh... just thank god no one walked in. First night sleeping in the big booty mama. We cut out foam mats to fit the windows and folded a blanket over the front seats to ...

After staying in some dirty, smelly motels along our route so far we checked AirBnB to see if there was anything a little nicer in the Adirondacks for some time away from Interstate roads. We were heading towards Point O Pines, Rachael's camp that I had heard so much about for the past 4 years, and then deeper into the Adirondack state ...

... with an officer and answer a few questions. After some deliberation a new visa was granted. The officers were very reasonable and in the end quite helpful. I was definitely not in the greatest shape to respond to the barrage of questions aimed at me so it was lucky I managed to mumble my way through.

It was at this point that time seemed to slow down as the 100 miles or so to the car seemed ...
