Time to dust off the old bag and start thinking about what to pack inside. The crazy part this Christmas trip is that I actually have to pack my swim suit so I can lounge around in the baths in Budapest, and I'm looking forward to it. I will of course write and post pictures of my adventures while I'm gone, and try and stay out of trouble. ... all very close together which straddle the border between Canada and the US. The Horseshoe falls are the biggest of the 3 and the 3 together form one of the biggest waterfalls in the world! It is possible to take a boat, called the Maid of the Mist to go right up to the falls. The crashing of the water produces thick mist all around the falls and even rainbows! At night the falls are lit with lights which change colour every few minutes.

My suitcase is way too heavy. Maybe I should have gone with Chris' suggestion to ship everything. In any case, the drive was uneventful. My suitcase was marked heavy but accepted and I'm now enjoying (?) the lounge. It is very noisy...multiple TV's on different stations at full volume. Very strange. ...

... in Charlotte we were looking for a place to grab some dinner. As a joke I saw Hooters and said, ‘hey what about Hooters, I hear it's a nice family restaurant?’. To my surprise, the Italian girl in the car was really keen, so Hooters it was! I have to say, the stereotype of big-boobed beauties serving us was not entirely true, but the food was really good! We got a mass of buffalo wings, which is always a winner as far as I’m concerned.
