... Toronto is full of microbreweries which we sampled some interesting beers along the way!

We spent our last night in downtown Toronto and had a great night out with Peter's Aussie mates from Chilli's - Jonesy & Wortho. It was around 15 years since they last worked together during their uni days so they had plenty to catch up on. Their reputation for a good night out still stands.

... and they missed their flight, too! We asked the gate agents if they could hold the plane but were told that it wasn't possible, even for 5 or 10 minutes. Which may not have been enough in the end, but it would have been nice to feel like they were trying. Though disappointed to leave the Swedish team behind, we were glad to be on our way. But it was snowing, I had my big backpack to carry and I was tired. I decided to take the train back to Oakville. ... to see that so many people choose to use a bicycle as their means of transportation and the vehicular traffic doesn’t even seem to give them pause! Though Jim is having no trouble driving in this traffic ( I knew he would be ok), we have come to realize that in comparison to this, our lives are very laid back! This is what hustle and bustle really.

Well we were up at 6:30. Mike ran and got coffee and McDonalds breakfasts (we didn't do food shopping this week as we were going away) 8:00 am. Dropped Striker at the new dog sitter but he does know the lady then off to the airport. Checked in no problem, then went to first class lounge on Mike's status. Then we thought we head to gate flight was to leave at 11:00. Stopped to pick up a sandwich for us and Sushi for Taylor for the plane as you don't get food on this ...
