From being built in the early 1960’s every rocket has been tested here, in the late 1960s and early 70s, there was an old saying around the community, "If you want to go to the moon, you first have to go through Hancock County, Mississippi."

We had a great time (well I did) wandering through the museum with exhibits from the area prior to rockets ...

... and the Mississippi (there it is again) River, walked down the ramp and right to the Grey Line Tours kiosk. Paid for our tickets at 12:05. Bought two hotdogs and two drinks for a total of $15.00 with tax. Ouch.
