    We strolled through the village and then went to the beach.
    Beaching seems to be a life style for most Sicilians, after some extensive searching we found a nice spot, where there were not too many weeds in the sea and installed ourselves amongst the locals.

    ... of the park and we had to walk to the complete other side. From there we explored the park: the teatro Greco and ancient greek theatre that is now used for re-enactments of the old plays, the area where the stones were excavated by the slaves, the ear of Dyonisis, and so on. A number of places that were brought together in the park some of which were very nice, others very cool given the shade in the area.

    ... It would not finish, so we tried different other programs, to get to the end, but even when it reached an end point it wouldn't open. So we tried and tried and tried and finally around noon time we were successful. Cloths back !

    ... somewhere in the late 1696 there has been a very severe earthquake and most of the villages of that time were demolished. Some people decided to reconstruct the ‘old’ village, whereas others opted to build a new village closeby.
