    The last week has been spent getting settled in Denver. We found a nice apartment near Union Station and the Platte River. It is ideal for the urban experience we've always wondered about. I enjoy exploring the area for hidden gems. There is a park along the Platte which is great for walking. We see lots of people walking their dogs and getting from the Highlands ...

    ... 6 each side, peddle along the street whilst having a drink. These are usually booked by groups and cost quite a bit to hire. There were a few seats free and the group asked us to join them. It was great! We went around the block which turned out o be the end of the ride. I was exhausted.....they gave me a red bull, lol. Got home about 2am. Not Well, not too well this morning.     We drove through miles and miles of GMO corn, soybean, and canola fields to finally arrive in Denver. We stopped at a dispensary but it wasn't the wonderous candystore style shopping we'd imagined it to be. Everything was in sealed packages and you couldn't buy less than an eighth at a time. Oh well.
