    ... country flights virtually effortless. A beautiful aircraft with good useful load, speed, comfort and an excellent safety record! Wheels up was scheduled for 0800 MDT with our first fuel and lunch stop planned for Ponca City, OK. Our actual departure was 8:06am MDT so pretty darn close to planned. Air was smooth as silk as we lifted off. I kept the airplane a few feet off the runway in what's referred to as "ground effect" to gain speed as we were near max load with people, bags and ...

    ... writing this, they have "un-delayed" by almost a half hour and delayed it again, now by almost two hours from the original take-off time. I think this ebb and flow is going to be the norm for the next few weeks. It's about the journey, not the destination, right? .That said, it would be nice to get to one of the destinations first.

    We drove through miles and miles of GMO corn, soybean, and canola fields to finally arrive in Denver. We stopped at a dispensary but it wasn't the wonderous candystore style shopping we'd imagined it to be. Everything was in sealed packages and you couldn't buy less than an eighth at a time. Oh well.
