When I got to Vail the weather was fine - little misty, little rain. I thought if this is Vail Pass, I am in good shape. I remembered the German guy telling me there was "frost" on the pavement, especially in front of the tunnel. Hmmm, no tunnel in Vail and I had gone from the West entrance past the East entrance. Waking up on a deflated air mattress was a real efficient
