        ... the Ozarks.   Apples and other fruit were a major industry until the 1920's and 1930’s when fruit diseases and the depression caused their failure.  Springdale is the home of Tyson and chickens are now the biggest industry here.  It was interesting that all signs in the Shiloh Museum were both in English and Spanish – lots of Hispanics here and I assume many work in the poultry business. ...

        Forgot to post pictures of Arkansas in the previous post. Attached are pictures when we arrive in Arkansas and the roads we travelled. In addition, I posted pictures of the Lake Fort Smith State Park where we stayed. It was an awesome park...our #1 park throughout our travels.

        After a grueling overnight drive, we arrived at Devil's Den State Park around 5:30am. We grabbed a campsite right on the bank of Lee's Creek and quickly set up so we could grab a well deserved nap.
