    ... of the old photo albums so we could look back at the family pics of Mikey’s Granny and Grandad, Louise and David’s wedding, and Mikey’s first trip back here in 1988. It’s amazing how much he still remembers of this trip, even though it was 25 years ago. Some places and activities obviously made a lasting impression on the 10 year old Mikey, and it was lovely reminiscing about the old days as we looked through the photos, whilst also making new memories this time ...

    I was quiet a lot during the day because I didn't know what to do at all. But I'm really excited to continue working at Manenberg and playing with all the children :)

    Sepo picked us up after a couple hours and we made our way back home. Today was such a busy day so I was exhausted. I went to the grocery store to get some food and just relaxed the rest of the night.
    What a great first day of work!
