Gotta start Cape Town with Table Mountain as it looms so impressively in the background. Decent hike involved especially in the heat but about 90 minutes or so will get you to the top. Fantastic views and you can get a cable car down (or indeed a cable car up if you want to but that is cheating right?)

The one thing that is so evident is the income gap – on the drive back from the airport, we passed the townships, which we will be visiting tomorrow, and when the driver pointed them out – the car went completely silent.
