Travelling the Skeena River on Highway 16
Today Rob met his first Grizly Bear. It wasn't hungry. He now knows the following:
1. Bears can move very quickly
2. You NEVER get out of the car if there is a bear.
3. Grizzlies are the ones with the hump.

Heading towards Jasper
... Motel it was lovely and clean. The motel has a laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers. McDonalds, Boston Pizza and Safeway supermarket are across the road. The WIFI was excellent and free. It is a reasonable size town with a good variety of shops.
Have added 2 photos of Aussie a blue heeler cross that greeted us at the Rainey Creek Campground in Stewart. I thought we were home. The lass that owned him found her in a shelter.

Lunch stop was at Tony's café at Frazer Lake, clean but uninspired...
We are staying at the Hudson Bay Lodge, where work on cars is still progressing as I write.
