3 - We were good little consumers and helped stimulate the economy of Lake Placid a little:)We walked around the main street of Lake Placid and popped into various shops, perusing their wares, playing with kids' toys, me touching every soft-looking article of clothing, and really just passing the time.
... hike/climb again in winter and was able to find the trail up at the top of the dike. This being his third time was a piece of cake for him, it seemed.
