... banks and walls made of huge rocks and/or heavy metal poles. Went straight to the guesthouse which was lucky as they were about to close for a few hours break. ... the original viaduct that still carries three brine pipes, the track became even more beautiful. There were the many autumn leaves on the floor, but also great views to the lake and overhangs along the way. Just lovely, and level! Decided to walk to the funicular rather than down the hill, but it was a rather steep climb up many steps. However when you get there it is so worthwhile, the view out over the southern end of the lake is magnificent. No wonder it is ...
