        After spending the spring and summer at our Ananda Church retreats in both northern California and Oregon, it's time to go out and explore the great expanse of the west.

        We don't have reservations anywhere for the next couple months so will head east over the high Sierra's through northern Nevada into southeastern Idaho to explore a bit, then into the Wyoming Tetons and Wind river range ...

        Stayed in an RV park in Emigrant Gap CA which is about 30 miles from Lake Tahoe. Our first full day was spent driving around the lake to see the sights including South Tahoe which is in Nevada. Big city with a number of casinos.         ... safely! Sheba loved all the smells from the car window and couldn’t wait to get out when we stopped. We got our packs on and headed out! So many amazing things to see along the way! The views are breathtaking and the quiet, peacefulness is a much needed break from the crazy city life. It is much cooler once we arrive at the falls. We stop here ...

        ... enough to drive down the road.. Good God. Thanks United for this early flight to San Francisco International.. My flight leaves at 5:25am and arrives at San Francisco by 6:00am. I will have a 7 hour, yes, you heard me right a 7 hour layover until my flight leaves at 13:30pm... Ouch!!! I better pack a bone or 2 for a snack! :-)

        ... Antoinio. There's a picture of Pat and Barbara, two of Mom's friends. They all went to visit a kitty rescue and had a great time. These kitties are very fortunate to be living here until they find forever homes. Barbara has her eyes on a couple of tabby's that really would like to go home with her. Maybe soon?????. Finally, I need to do a little bragging, you realize that I'm a very humble cat. so this isn't easy for me. Well ...
